Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA

Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB). Mr. Rashid has been working with Index Group since 2010 and is currently serving as the Deputy Managing Director. He is also serving as the Independent Director of West Zone Power Distribution Company Ltd (WZPDCL), an Enterprise of Bangladesh Power Development Board and as the Director of Nitol Insurance Co. Ltd. His career lifted off when he started as an officer of Bangladesh Steel & Engineering Corporation (BSEC) in the year 1989. After that he accumulated a wealth of experience via serving in the following influential designations and esteemed organizations: He served as Chief Financial Officer at Kazi Farms Group, Director (Finance) at Sheba Phone. He also served in Government organizations namely, Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) and Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC). Mr. Rashid is currently serving as the Council member of the National Council of ICMAB. He also served as the Executive Secretary of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).

Mehzabin Mazher

Mehzabin Mazher, Director of ‘X Index Companies’ is a dynamic and accomplished professional. Her contribution to the growth and prosperity of Index Agro Industries Limited is enormous. She has a sound scholastic record with an MBA from ‘Queens University’ in Dhaka. Apart from being actively involved with the Branding department, she also supervises and formulates directions for Index Constructions Limited.

Mr. Abu Bakar Siddique, FCMA

Independent Director

Mr. Abu Bakar Siddique FCMA, is a seasoned finance professional with over 40 years of experience in finance, accounting and management across diverse sectors in Bangladesh. He has held numerous prestigious leadership roles, including President of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), Board Member and Technical Advisor of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), Councilor at the Financial Reporting Council (Bangladesh Government), Chairman of the Dhaka Branch Council of ICMAB, Member of the Board of Directors at Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market, Chittagong Dry Dock Ltd., Khulna Shipyard Ltd., Dockyard and Engineering Works Ltd. (Narayanganj), and Bangladesh Diesel Plant Ltd. He also served as Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Renwick Jajneswar & Co. Bangladesh Ltd., and as a Member of the Academic Council and Finance Committee at Daffodil International University.

Mr. Siddique holds a First Class Master of Commerce in Management from the University of Dhaka and is a Fellow Member of ICMAB. His extensive experience includes serving as CFO at Fashion Step Group, Executive Vice President and CFO at Kohinoor Chemical Co. (BD.) Ltd. and Group Reedisha, and Accounting Consultant at PA Consulting Group, New Zealand. His leadership, financial expertise, and commitment to excellence continue to drive success and innovation in every organization he serves.

Ms. Shahana Parvin, FCMA

Independent Director

Ms. Shahana Parvin is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and compliance. Currently serving as the Senior Finance Manager at the Infectious Diseases Division of International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b), she plays a crucial role in financial planning, grant management, and regulatory compliance for research and healthcare projects. She is actively involved with the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) and has played a significant role in leadership and committee activities. Ms. Shahana has held various key positions, including Secretary of the Dhaka Branch Council (DBC) in 2024, Chairman of the Seminar and Conference Committee (DBC) in 2023, and Member of the SAFA Women Leadership Committee (2020-2022). Additionally, she served as Vice Chairman of the Women Affairs Committee (2020-2021) at ICMAB and has been a member of multiple committees, including Women Affairs (2014-2024), Seminar & Conference, and Placement Committees of ICMAB.

Ms. Shahana has completed her Masters of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting, Masters of Science (M.Sc.) in Geography and Certified International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) Professional. She is the fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB). She has participated in numerous international leadership and financial management training programs. With a strong commitment to professional excellence, leadership in financial management, and contributions to gender diversity and leadership development, she continues to make a significant impact in her field.
